Breakfast is served in the old Palmento. Guests can enjoy it in our patio with the amazing view of the sea and of the Vendicari Reserve or inside the Palmento, during the hotter days.
Cakes and jam tarts are made by our Chefs with locally produced flours and are served with croissants, pastries, locally made and home made jams, according to seasonal fruits. From October to June, orange juice comes from our citrus groves while from May to October we serve almond milk and almond and lemon Sicilian granitas.
OUR CUISINE
Our restaurant offers dishes that are a tribute to the Sicilian tradition. Some recipes have been reworked by our Chefs Rosario Vaccarisi and Lorenzo Insolia to experiment new flavour combinations and are embellished by seasonal and typical local products.
Our wines have been selected to accompany and highlight our cuisine. We have a selection of the finest Nero d’Avola and other local wines. We also offer a special children menu.

THE PRODUCTS OF OUR LAND
The products of our land, the pleasure of farm to table food.
The ancient Masseria La Corte del Sole wants to keep alive soul and the identity of the place, its history, and its traditions linked to country life.
For this reason, for some time we have begun cultivating a vegetable garden so to produce genuine vegetables without the use of chemical fertilizers, fertilized by the generous sun of the South and by the breeze from the Vendicari reserve.
A 20 hectares estate that streches until the border of the Vendicari Reserve.Le Muse Restaurant is constantly evolving: the search for raw products cooked every morning by our chefs, our organic and spices garden, the choice of recipes to create menus related to tradition, are proposed in a creative way so that all five senses can enjoy the most ancient and important flavors known to men.
Dishes are prepared by choosing pasta made with Sicilian antique grains, the best rice, organic extra virgin olive oil of La Corte del Sole, and other well-known Slow Food products.
Our chefs collect daily fruit and vegetables in our organic vegetable garden and use those products in their creative dishes, adding flavours with herbs from our garden.
Home made jams and orange juices from our groves make our breakfast fresh everyday.
THE WINE CELLAR
The best wines from the Val di Noto and from Sicily are part of our wine list, from the well-known Nero d’Avola and Sirah to the dessert and meditation wines such as Moscato di Noto and Passito di Pantelleria.
On request, it is possible to visit our wine cellar full of that charming atmosphere of the past.
It is also possible to taste different craft beers produced locally.
We also organize wine tastings with the best wineries of this territory.
Our cuisine is very particular about guests with food intolerances, especially those suffering from coeliac disease.
In 2016, all our staff took part in a training course and obtained a certification acknowledged by the Coeliac Disease Italian Association.
La Corte del Sole was the first hotel in South East Sicily to get this important acertification.
